Jeff Pearson Speaks at Clemson Catalyst Competition
As part of Mei & Mark LLP's commitment to supporting innovation and the next generation of leaders in entrepreneurship, attorney Jeff Pearson spoke to Clemson University's Entrepreneurship in Science course about intellectual property and artificial intelligence. The course is part of a broader program in Clemson's College of Science called the Catalyst Competition. Catalyst is an entrepreneurship challenge that helps students develop their innovative business ideas in the areas of science and technology, culminating in a "pitch night" when students pitch their ideas to a panel of judges to win seed money to help pursue their ideas. Jeff Pearson helped establish the program at Clemson several years ago, and Mei & Mark supported the competition from the beginning. Jeff's presentation to the Clemson students provides better awareness of how to protect their IP as they develop their ideas, along with the impact AI is having on IP.
