Mai-Trang Dang is a professional nature and portrait photographer who practices media and entertainment law, including handling copyright, trademark, privacy, right of publicity, and fair use matters. Being an artist herself, Ms. Dang brings a unique perspective while zealously representing her clients.
Ms. Dang also practices other aspects of intellectual property litigation and has litigated patents covering a wide range of technologies, including light-emitting diodes, GPS navigation devices, and chemical processes. She also has extensive experience litigating cases before the International Trade Commission and has been an active member of four trial teams.
Prior to joining Mei & Mark LLP, Ms. Dang was an attorney at the Washington, D.C., office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP. She also clerked for the Honorable Pauline Newman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Previously, Ms. Dang worked as a software engineer at Blackboard, a renewable energy engineer at Alternative Energy Development, and a mechanical engineering intern at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
