Mei & Mark LLP Starts Chinese Government Relations Practice with New Hire

Washington, DC – April 19, 2010 – Mei & Mark LLP, a leading minority-owned Intellectual Property & Litigation law firm, today announces formation of its Chinese Government Relations Practice group with the addition of Mr. Wei Huang, a leading Chinese lawyer. Mei & Mark LLP’s Chinese Government Relations practice group serves U.S. clients doing business in China by improving predictability in Chinese litigation and dispute resolution and by improving transparency in the decision-making process. For example, when necessary, Mei & Mark LLP will arrange for its U.S. clients to meet with appropriate Chinese government agencies and highlight the importance of transparency and neutrality in the decision-making process.

Mr. Huang will be based in Beijing and Washington, D.C., and head Mei & Mark LLP’s Chinese Government Relations Practice group as Of Counsel. Mr. Huang is also a partner at a top Chinese law firm, Tian Yuan Law Firm, where his practice includes Banking and Project Finance, Asset Management, Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution.
