Law360: US Airways Must Face Frequent Flier’s Mileage Credit Suit

Washington, DC – August 23, 2013 – The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois today denied US Airways’ motion to dismiss the class action complaint, finding the contract provision regarding how frequent flier miles are calculated ambiguous. Law360 has a news report on today’s ruling. Mei & Mark LLP filed this class action complaint along with two other class action complaints against United Airlines and Delta Air Lines in March 2013, alleging that these airlines have breached their frequent-flyer program agreements by under-awarding miles to program members.
