Washington, DC – June 11, 2014 – Law360 reports the United States International Trade Commission’s (ITC) first-ever decision to stay its own remedial orders pending Federal Circuit appeal in favor of Mei & Mark client. Although the ITC has never stayed one of its remedial orders before, it found that in the present investigation (Inv. No. 337-TA-833), the issue of whether electronic transmissions are “articles” within the meaning of section 337 is an “admittedly difficult question.”
Lei Mei, Reece Nienstadt, and Jiwei Zhang of Mei & Mark LLP represented Respondent ClearCorrect Pakistan (Private), Ltd. in this matter.
