Federal Circuit Ruled in Mei & Mark Client’s Favor

Washington, DC – December 14, 2010 – The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit today denied Pass & Seymour’s combined petition for panel rehearing and rehearing en banc in favor of Mei & Mark client Wenzhou Trimone in General Protecht Group v. ITC, Case Nos. 2009-1378, -1387, -1434 (Fed. Cir. Aug. 27, 2010). Note that the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) submitted an amicus curiae brief in support of Pass & Seymour’s petition for rehearing. Mei & Mark LLP filed a response on behalf of Trimone.

The case was on appeal from the United States International Trade Commission in Investigation No. 337-TA-615. Mei & Mark attorney Lei Mei previouly argued for Trimone before a Federal Circuit panel. Trimone retained Mei & Mark LLP for post-ITC proceedings, including appeals, after it lost at the Commission.
